How To Blog When Life Sucks

As I sit here contemplating about what to write, I searched for, “July topics to write about” in my google box. One particular topic stood out, “Tell your story about where your life is right now”, and if I’m being honest, my life simply sucks!

Now, before I begin my self-pity party, let me start by saying that I am probably one of the most positive people you will every meet, and I always try to see the bright side of things, but right now I’m treading water.

So, here we go,!  (By the way, I’m not going to worry about paragraphs and all that writing stuff, because I don’t feel like it)!!

I’ve had three surgeries over the past year, knee, hip, and recently sinus.  All of this has caused me to be in chronic pain, everyday, and all the lovely anxiety that comes along with it.

I haven’t written a blog post in about six weeks.

I have huge medical bills coming out my arse.

My house looks like crap inside and out, and I can’t physically do the things that I love to do, like gardening, DIY projects, or simply go for a walk.

I’m sure I could list more, but I know many of you out there get my point.  🙂

Now what does this have to do with blogging, and how the hell can I help anyone else who is going the same thing?

Well, I don’t know if I can, other than to say, that I look around me and find the things that I am grateful for:

I have a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and gas in my car.

I have wonderful, supportive, and caring friends, co-workers, and family!

I have two great puppies that give me unconditional love.

And, a blog that is very forgiving, because even if I don’t write I can see that people still visit me.  And that is really cool.

So, what’s my advise when it comes to blogging when your life is in turmoil?

Relax, your blog is still there, waiting for you when your ready.

Get social, and share some other bloggers ideas that your audience and the author will appreciate too.

Find some inspiration and healing tips from other bloggers who have fallen on hard times.  The majority of the blogging community really is there to help you get through this.

And finally, recognize that everything isn’t ok, and see what you can do to improve your life & blogging attitude.

For me, I reached out to my doc to help with all the anxiety that I’ve been having.

I search for therapeutic products and their reviews from others to help me with my ailments.

And finally, just sharing this post feels really good!

Thank you for letting me rant and rave, and hopefully I’ve helped some others who are going through the same thing.

All inspirational posts and comments are welcomed here, and I actually feel like my frown has turned upside down.  Have a super day everyone!
