How To Do The Cash Back Dance!

I love music, dance, and cash.  There’s nothing that makes me get my groove on than seeing that cha-ching!

It’s a running joke with my family and friends how I love sharing cash back reward programs such as Ibotta, Rakuten, Fetch, and more!

If you would like to do the cash back dance too here’s how to get on that money train by scanning your receipts!

Ibotta is my #1 favorite cash back app, and I have received over $486, between my purchases and my Ibotta team.

That’s right!! I have a team of savers who took advantage of my referral link. 🤑🤑

It’s a win, win, when friends spend!  LOL

Here’s my referral link which gives you incentives to join as well by referring all of your friends too.

Fetch Rewards

It’s kind of silly not to take advantage of the Fetch Rewards cash back app.

All you do is scan your receipt, and you get some points.  If you buy some of their featured brands, you get extra bonus points.

Plus, if you refer your friends you get points AGAIN!  Here’s mine:  Fetch Rewards

Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog is just down right fun.  It’s almost like a game for super savers!

You get coins for just about any receipt you scan, including your household family members.

You can use your coins for gift card rewards, slot spins, and tickets to monthly money jackpot!

(No referral bonus with this app, but it’s still worth a try)

Receipt Pal

Receipt Pal is just like Receipt Hog.  Just take a pic of your receipts and fill up your card slots.

There is a referral bonus with Receipt Pal, so here mine: Receipt Pal, so you can get yours.

Check Out 51

CheckOut 51 is super easy, and more brand focused.

So, it’s worth looking at the new offers they put out each Thursday!

Saving Star

SavingStar is easy breezy too!  Just add the brands you plan on purchasing at the store before you go!

There are more cash back apps out there, but these are my faves when it comes to shopping in store.

Cash Back online will be in another post!  🙂  One of my favorites is:  Top Cash Back….love this one!

Sure it takes a little time to look at what each app offers, but with a little effort you can have a nice chunk of cash for Christmas or vacay.

Super Saving Tip:  I keep all of these apps grouped together under Cash Back Apps for easy access.  The girl doesn’t have time to keep swiping.  LOL

Each app will give you clear directions on how to use their mobile program.

So, make sure you watch the video or tutorial directions so your not missing out on all the ways you can earn.

If you have any other apps that get’s you into your groove, please share in the comments below!

My Fabulous FitnessPal

It’s official.  I’m in my middle forties, and I can’t lose one pound without paying close attention to how much I eat, and at least 30-45 minutes of exercise five days a week.

What a bummer it is to get old, but at least today we have access to super food tracking apps, books, fitness gadgets, and online communities for encouragement.

So, over the next couple of posts I thought that I would share some of the ways that I keep my forty-year old self in reality, and first up is how I track my daily calories, carbs, and fiber. Check it out below!

 My Fitness Pal

In the olden days, most of us had to write in a daily food journal of what we ate for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.  You also had to get a food calorie counter book, and search for your foods calories, carbs, fats, or sugar counts, something like the following book below:

The Calorie King is a super book, for those of you who like to have an actual “book” in your hands, and want to write everything down.  But, for me personally this method would maybe last about a week, because it takes way too long, and I just don’t have the patience.  So, my absolute favorite way to track my daily intake of calories, carbs, and fiber is with MyFitnessPal app.

I have had this FREE app for a couple of years now, and what I like is that it’s user-friendly, fast, and I can customize the foods that I eat.

For instance, if I only have 8 almonds for a snack, I can record that exact amount.  (I’m one of those people who really wants to know how many calories & carbs are in a single Hershey’s kiss)  🙂  Some of the other apps that I have used will not let you break down your food calorie counts like this.

Also, it’s very rare that I don’t find a certain food in MyFitnessPayl’s extensive data base, which a huge plus.  And finally, it’s so darn smart that it remembers the foods that I eat on a regular basis, so I don’t really have to enter them again.  I just click on in the tab that says, “frequent” and see my faves and click away.  DONE!  🙂

I really think that it’s important to track what your eating every once in a while, because many times we are eating way too much and that’s where the weight gain comes in.

I’ve been trying my best to teach this to my teenagers, because they are used to eating what ever they want, and we all know that has to change as we grow older.

Next post is all about how I combine MyFitnessPal with my FitBit fitness tracker, cause I got to move it, move it.

Disclosure:  Just so ya know that some of the links above are my affiliate links, and I may get a small commission if you decide to buy.  As always, I thank you for stopping by and spending time with me, and I hope that your New You is well on its way.

Snapwire, Where Photographers & Brands Meet

Today, I am really excited to share with you about my experience with a super app & online community called Snapwire.  It’s basically a place where mobile photographers, brands, businesses, or bloggers come together to sell or buy custom photos for as little as $3 or as high as the buyer is willing to pay.  For instance, as a blogger I am always looking for creative, colorful, clear images to feature in my articles or as a background cover on my social media pages.  I can usually get these pictures myself with my mobile iPhone, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out and I have to purchase one.  So, that’s exactly what I did at Snapwire, I made a request for some Urban garden photos below:

My request for custom urban garden photos at Snapwire.

My request for custom urban garden photos at Snapwire.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make this request, all I had to do was enter my creative details in a simple, user-friendly template, when I needed it by, and the price I was willing to pay.  I hit the submit button, and after Snapwire reviewed & approved my request the countdown began.  As you can see in the photo above I had 97 photo entries, and this was only over a few days!  I ended up choosing the two photos below for $7 each, and I have had the pleasure of speaking to the photographers whose pictures I picked.  Now how cool is that!!

Snapwire is also for the mobile photographer who would like to sell their images to businesses, brands, and other bloggers.  Let’s face it, some of the most beautiful pictures can be found on Instagram, and most of these images are taken by non-professionals.  That’s what makes them special, they are authentic, real-life moments that many businesses are willing to pay for.  Here is an example of how a mobile photographer would use Snapwire in my request for Urban garden pics above.  A person could literally walk outside, take a creative shot of an urban garden with their iPhone or camera, and upload it through the Snapwire app or online community to my request page or any of the other request that are available.  I loved the idea of getting fresh, creative, clear photos from people all over the world and I have no doubt that other brands & businesses will feel the same way as I do.  It’s truly amazing……

Snapwire Photography

Now, I am giving you just a tiny glimpse into what Snapwire is all about, and if you would like more in-depth details click here , or if you would like to just go ahead and download the app go here.  Currently, Snapwire is only available for iPhones, but the Android app is coming soon.  I plan on adding some of my own photos in the near future, and I look forward to connecting with brands & other mobile photographers, and if  you decide to join Snapwire, please find me so that I can look up your profile and see your awesome portfolio.

Just so you know that this is a sponsored post, the opinions are completely my own based on my experience and I thank you for taking the time to read my review.    :-)
